Susan Tuttle

We lost a wonderful human being and a great author on June 8, 2021. We will miss Susan and her amazing stories. Her books are available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle and audio versions.

Susan Tuttle is the slightly twisted author of three suspense novels, an indieB.R.A.G. Medallion-awarded paranormal suspense novel, a literary historical suspense novel, and a collection of award-winning short stories. She is also a professional freelance editor and writing instructor/mentor. Her comprehensive 6-volume Write It Right: Exercises to Unlock the Writer in Everyone workbook series is based on her writing classes, for fiction writers of all levels.

Susan is past president of SLO NightWriters and the Central Coast Chapter of Sisters in Crime, and is presently the newsletter editor for both organizations. Her work has garnered numerous awards in various writing competitions and has appeared in Mind Prints Literary Journal, Tolosa Press, If & When Literary Journal, The Feathered Flounder Literary Journal and in anthologies from SLO NightWriters and Central Coast SinC.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Susan moved to California in 2004. She now lives on the Central Coast of California with her imaginary cat in a house filled with her (mostly unfinished) handmade quilts and (mostly finished) knitted scarves.  She is presently at work on a new mystery series featuring her female P.I., Skylark, who has paranormal abilities, and two young adult (YA) fantasy series.
